About
Samuel Kings
Minister of the Gospel, Apostle by call, and the Founder and CEO of GospelCentrik Inc. A software engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Samuel is building GospelCentrik Inc. (founded December 2025): the digital infrastructure that will power the global Church and accelerate the spread of the Gospel across the world, starting with GracePad. It's the meeting point of different facets of his calling - his seven-year career as a software engineer, and a pastor's conviction that the Church deserves tools built with the same rigor as anything else being built today.

Why
The bigger problem
Africa doesn't need charity - it needs infrastructure it owns. We can build our own future, and the cost of continuous dependence is high.
The diaspora carry one version of that cost: racism, and the quiet, constant work of fitting into systems that were not built for them, but have to be endured in search of a better future. Africans at home carry another: contending for scraps and crumbs while their own government tramples on its own people.
The vision is of a continent rich in technology and infrastructure - one that Africans everywhere are proud to call home, built on talent we develop and harness ourselves rather than wait for someone else to develop for us.
I believe we've also built a society that depends on the government for way too much. While the government has its place, I desire to lead a vision that doesn't need a government seat to hold real power - some of us will, and that's an advantage too.
The West's industrial revolution didn't just build factories; it sparked a culture of building, and a venture-capital culture that funded people to try new things and break new grounds. That's what I want for my lifetime - for my life to tell the story of what's possible when we push possibility to its very limit. Right now, too much of Nigeria's wealth sits in FMCG: solid businesses, but built by a generation that only trusts immediate, assured returns. That has to change.
Mission
Vision, and what it takes to build it
To build generation of Kingdom men and women aligned with their ordination, reflecting the image and power of God in their own domains, advancing God's Kingdom on earth.
The Kings & Priests template: spiritual authority and marketplace competence held together and demonstrated, not just taught.
The access infrastructure for that generation: tech facilities on an earned-access model (earned through work, not paid for), entrepreneur bootcamps, conferences, talent platforms and mentorship. The same effort feeds a wider dream: an industrialized, tech-forward Africa that Africans are proud to call home, open to anyone building there, not Christians alone, even where the people and resources behind it lean on the Church.
A pioneer bridging apostolic identity and marketplace impact, bringing the operational knowledge of socioeconomic systems to a conversation that is too often just spoken about.
Building GospelCentrik Inc., the digital infrastructure that will power the global Church and accelerate the spread of the Gospel across the world.
Biography
The long version
Samuel was born to pastor parents and has been in and around ministry for as long as he can remember. At 15, reading Joel 2:28, he heard the call clearly: “This is what I want to use you for among the youths.” What followed was two years of weekly youth meetings in Ibadan, his first experience of deliverance, healing and the impartation of spiritual gifts.
As his theological training deepened, he found himself drifting from a Christianity centered on what God gives toward one centered on what God sent him to do, and how to fulfil it. Reading Exodus, he saw it plainly: God's plan for Israel was to make them a nation of kings and priests. In 2017 he joined Oil In My Lamp Ministries under Apostle Richmond Babs, a kingdom-driven apostolic ministry raising believers out of spiritual babyhood and into the fullness of Christ. Today, Samuel serves as the ministry's Vice President, awaiting marching orders for the next phase.
He has spent seven years as a full-stack engineer, building cross-platform products in Flutter, React Native, React and Next.js, with backends in Node.js, NestJS, Appwrite and Firebase. His work has shipped social, gaming, community and education products for teams across the US, UK, France and beyond, covering everything from mobile architecture and payments to AI-assisted tooling and admin platforms.
On December 19, 2025, he founded GospelCentrik Inc. to bring that same engineering rigor to the Church: digital infrastructure to power the global Church and accelerate the spread of the Gospel across the world, starting with GracePad, a Christian workspace for the Bible, notes and devotionals.
He also teaches through It's Controversial, a podcast taking on the tensions and contradictions in Christian doctrine and church practice today.
