1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information www.samuelkings.com (the "Site") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is Samuel Kings' ("Samuel," "we," "us") own personal link hub and public profile, operated by him directly. The Site is not operated by, or a property of, GospelCentrik Inc.; GospelCentrik Inc. is mentioned on the Site only as content, since Samuel is its founder.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter; and your name, email address and message, if you submit the contact form.

Information collected automatically, only after you accept analytics in the consent banner: pages you view, general usage patterns, and device and browser information, collected through PostHog.

Information from how you arrived: if you reach the Site through one of our tracked bio links (for example from TikTok or YouTube), we record which platform sent you, using UTM parameters and a short-lived first-party cookie, so we can measure which platforms are working, without identifying you personally.

3. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of first-party cookies for its own functioning: one that remembers your analytics consent choice for up to a year, and short-lived ones that record which platform's bio link brought you here, used only for the attribution described above.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: send the newsletter you asked to receive; respond to messages sent through the contact form; understand, only once you have consented, how visitors use the Site so we can improve it; and keep the Site secure and working as intended.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

The Site relies on a small number of service providers to work:

  • Appwrite - hosts the backend functions the contact and newsletter forms call.
  • Brevo - delivers the contact form notification and manages the newsletter list, including sending and confirming your subscription.
  • PostHog - product analytics, only active after you consent.
  • Sentry - error monitoring, configured to collect no personal information.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile - verifies that forms are submitted by a human, not spam.

6. Data Retention

Contact form messages are not stored by the Site. A message only ever exists as a single notification email, and is not kept in any database.

Your newsletter subscription is kept by Brevo until you unsubscribe, using the link included in every email we send.

Analytics data collected through PostHog, once you have consented, is retained under PostHog's own data retention settings.

7. Your Rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. For any other request, including asking what information we hold about you or asking us to delete it, use the contact form.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
